Another world!

The discovery of the tranquil and picturesque isle of Bermuda in 1511 is attributed to the Spanish navigator Juan Bermúdez.

Geographically, Bermuda is located in the north Atlantic Ocean with Cape Hatteras in North Carolina (USA) being its closest land neighbour at a distance of some 600 nautical miles. As a British Territory, Bermuda has a population of about 64,000 and is 21 square miles in size.

Besides offering a first-class tourism destination, Bermuda is also an important and strategic offshore business jurisdiction and the registered offshore or principal home of thousands of multinational companies.
