The earliest stages of human evolution are believed to have begun in Africa making it the cradle of human existence.
Contrary to erroneous references, Africa is not one country but a continent of 54 countries. With a population of about 1.1 billion people (16% of the world population), it is the second most populous continent and also the second largest continent with about 30 million sq. km. of land.
Out of Africa’s land is about 30% of the earth’s remaining mineral resources which includes the largest reserves for gold, cobalt and platinum.
Its land is also rich with flora, fauna and wildlife much the envy of many other places. With its size and population, it is not farfetched that Africa is also a melting pot of thousands of communities, tribes, groups and states with distinct languages, customs and usages that make the continent unique.
From natural resources to wildlife to culture to tourism and beyond, Africa offers itself as the next frontier of opportunities and gladly welcomes those who share in its dreams.
